Do I need an electrician to install these?

Nope. No wiring at all. Screw the light to the wall with the screws and plugs in the box, point the solar panel at the sun, and you're done. Most people finish in under 15 minutes.

Do they work during power cuts?

Yes, that's the whole point. They run on their own built-in battery, charged by the sun. They're not connected to the grid, so a power cut changes nothing.

What about cloudy or rainy days?

They still charge in daylight, just slower. After a few grey days you may get shorter run time at night. For best results, mount the panel where it gets direct sun for most of the day (north-facing works best in SA).

How does the motion sensor work?

When it gets dark and someone walks past, the light switches on automatically, then switches off again after a short time. This saves battery and gives intruders a fright.

Are they waterproof?

They're made for outdoor use and handle normal SA weather, sun and rain. Just don't submerge them in water.

How long does delivery take?
